Sometimes, new and small companies often have the misfortune of being labelled inexperienced, untrusted and unlikely to succeed and what many sometimes fail to see, is that small companies begin with one individual or small team of people who are so concentrated on its success, prosper and growth, that no obstacle is too high, too risky until proven otherwise.
I like to think of it like a bottle of Robinson's fruit squash. Sometimes, you add too much juice and the taste becomes too concentrated. On other occasions you don't pour enough juice and the drink becomes weak. However, when you dilute the perfect amount of juice to water, you get the perfect drink. Here at HRD, that's exactly what we do - we always aim to make that perfect squash. Sometimes when starting off in larger companies, you can easily get washed away, left to do the jobs no one wants to do, most likely leaving you with more water than juice. However, some might argue that they like their drink a little weaker or stronger than others. That's called room for manoeuvrability for our employees and tailoring for our clients. This is one of the main principles on which HRD was founded - it hasn't beaten us yet! We create ideas that you want to see happen and only make products that we would buy ourselves. Let us know how we can help you. Joel Berkowitz, Director at High Resolution Design
London's underground Tube trains are one of the capital's best-known symbols. And yet, the flash-by streaks of red, white and blue can be found in unexpected places up and down England. On top of a building: London itself can hardly be described as an unexpected place to spot a Tube. But four carriages sitting on top of a 10m (33ft) high Victorian warehouse is not something you come across every day. The venue, in Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, is run as a not-for-profit "cultural space" by Village Underground, an arts centre. On an island If you are used to dashing down a lengthy escalator to catch the next train to Marble Arch, you might be a little surprised to find London Tubes skimming around the more leisurely environs of the Isle of Wight. But holidaymakers are accustomed to catching the re-commissioned rail links from the pier at Ryde to the seaside resort of Shanklin. 10 former Northern Line cars, dating from 1938, were bought after flooding in a tunnel meant the track-bed had to be raised. The Tube cars were the only stock that would fit through the tunnel. At HRD, we think we can do one better than these! We've brought tube trains to your bed! It doesn't get more unexpected than this new product developed by us, here in London. |
